Futudent has released a new multimount, high-definition dental camera called EduCam.
The camera captures both still and video images from outside the patient's mouth and can be mounted on a practitioner's loupe or lamp, according to the company. EduCam also has a "no-tools" connection system and a removable cable.
In addition, Futudent has announced a partnership with Thomas Monitor Systems to integrate Futudent's software with that company's VisiQuick control panel for digital imaging systems. The integrated solution will be available in January 2017.
