Tom's of Maine has released its new Rapid Relief Sensitive Toothpaste.
The toothpaste blocks the pathways to nerves to help seal out pain in sensitive teeth through a patented combination of arginine and calcium carbonate, according to the company.
The toothpaste works in about one minute and provides long-lasting protection with continuous use, according to Tom's. It contains no artificial dyes, sweeteners, or preservatives.
"Until now, sensitive teeth sufferers have had to settle for toothpastes and ingredients that just mask the pain," stated Lindsay McPherson, senior oral care brand manager at Tom's of Maine, in a press release. "Tom's of Maine Rapid Relief Sensitive Toothpaste treats sensitivity differently and makes it possible to once again enjoy cold drinks, hot soups, and even ice cream without fear of pain."
The toothpaste comes in a fresh mint flavor with natural peppermint oil and has a suggested retail price of $5.99.
