DentalEZ debuts cordless prophy handpiece at GNYDM

DentalEZ introduced the StarDental iStar cordless prophy handpiece at the 2015 Greater New York Dental Meeting (GNYDM).

The iStar has 2.0 Ncm of torque and is operated by a single multifunction button. It has a five-speed control with 500 to 2,500 rotations per minute, and its cordless design allows for free movement and eliminates the need for a foot pedal. The handpiece's battery lasts three hours with continuous use.

The iStar comes with a one-year limited warranty on the system and a three-year limited warranty on the battery, as well as 100 disposable sleeves and a storable battery charger. Dental professionals who purchase an iStar before January 31, 2016, will a $100 discount off the retail cost.
