Ultradent Products has launched its Opalescence Go 6% hydrogen peroxide whitening gel, a take-home whitening product.
Unlike the original Opalescence Go with 10% hydrogen peroxide, this product provides results at a lower concentration of hydrogen peroxide for patients with more-sensitive teeth, according to the company. It also contains potassium nitrate and fluoride to help reduce sensitivity and caries, as well as strengthen enamel. The new gel has a wear time of 60 to 90 minutes and is available in mint and melon flavors.
