CareCredit has introduced a new certification program.
Each of the more than 10,000 practices that accepts the company's credit card will be required to complete this online training, according to an ADA News story. To continue accepting the CareCredit credit card, at least one person in each practice is required to become CareCredit-certified. The process takes about 25 minutes to complete, according to CareCredit, and needs to be renewed every two years.
"CareCredit is committed to providing accurate and transparent information about financing options for patients, so they can make well-informed decisions about how to pay for their care," stated Paul Findly, director of marketing of CareCredit. "We've developed this online certification to make it simple and easy for ADA members to become CareCredit-certified."
ADA members with questions about CareCredit Certification can contact the CareCredit Practice Development Team, visit carecredit.com/contact, or call 800-859-9975, option 1, then 6.
