Orascoptic, a member of the KaVo Kerr Group, has launched RDH Elite, a loupe designed with a focus on dental hygiene.
Utilizing a team of practicing hygienists and industry-recognized experts in ergonomics and infection control, the company coengineered a loupe centered on improving ergonomics, productivity, and career longevity.
By incorporating a lightweight elongated bezel, the loupe is able to offer steeper declination angles that help reduce head tilt and physical strain on the neck, according to the company. Its small stature also provides optimal viewing space above the telescope for completing charts and patient consultations; while deep carrier lenses and custom-designed side shields offer additional facial protection, Orascoptic noted.
RDH Elite can be configured as a through-the-lens or flip-up. Sizes are available in small and regular. Each loupe comes with one interchangeable temple tip and color emblem kit; additional kits may be purchased through Orascoptic.
