Turnout, economic impact soar at 2023 Midwinter Meeting

Attendance rose 28% at the Chicago Dental Society’s 2023 Midwinter Meeting, and its visitors made an economic impact of an estimated $28 million.

The meeting, which was held February 23-25, had 20,700 registrants, signaling a revival of convention travelers. The 2022 meeting was the society's first in-person convention since 2020. Additionally, the number of exhibitors increased. In 2023, there were 517 exhibitors, and there were 445 in the prior year.
