LightForce Orthodontics has secured $80 million in series D funding from several investment firms and the American Association of Orthodontics.
With the funding, LightForce will scale production of 3D-printed orthodontic brackets with the construction of a new 36,000-sq-ft manufacturing facility in Wilmington, MA. Additionally, funds will be used to advance the use of artificial intelligence in its workflows, grow its team of engineers and scientists, and invest in education.
