Dental service organization (DSO) Heartland Dental achieved several milestones, including adding 94 supported practices and relocating existing offices, in 2023.
Some of the practices are operational and others will open in the first quarter of 2024. The changes will add 1,130 new dental operatories. Additionally, Heartland added 33 of the nation's practices through its affiliation program.
Also, the DSO launched Heartland Dental University, a program that aims to provide training to its supported doctors and team members.
In 2023, the DSO partnered with VideaHealth and Henry Schein One to implement VideaAI. In addition, it expanded its collaboration with Align Technology, upgrading supported practices with the iTero 5D Plus.
