Dental partnership organization (DPO) United Dental Corporation (UDC) has entered the U.S. market, acquiring seven practices in Georgia, Arizona, and California.
The first wave of acquisitions includes specialty and general dentistry practices, according to UDC, which already operates in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. The practices were specifically selected by UDC to provide support for subsequent acquisitions. UDC anticipates closing its second and third groups of acquired practices by March 2023.
In November 2021, UDC raised $5 million to acquire 100 practices in the U.S. over the next year.
