Pearl’s Second Opinion cleared in Turkey

Pearl’s artificial intelligence-based dental pathology detection software Second Opinion has been cleared for use in Turkey.

The Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency cleared it as a Class IIa medical device. Second Opinion reviews the radiographs of patients 12 and older to detect dental conditions, including caries, bone loss, and root abscesses.
