Diagnocat said its Diagnocat artificial intelligence (AI) dental imaging technology has been cleared for use by Health Canada.
Diagnocat AI identifies over 30 common dental conditions on x-rays and cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT), including caries, calculus, periapical lesions, and rare pathologies. The process of converting and segmenting DICOM files to standard tessellation language (STL) files can be challenging in treatment planning in 3D digital cases for implants and orthodontics, and Diagnocat AI makes this process simpler and more efficient, the company said.
Currently, Diagnocat AI cloud-based software is used by dentists, specialists, oral radiologists, dental laboratories, and universities across Europe, Israel, Italy, Mexico, and now Canada.
