Benco Dental announced it has partnered with Roland DGA and is introducing Roland's DWX-4 compact dental mill.
Benco will combine the Roland DWX-4 compact dental mill with the Glidewell FastDesign software. The DWX-4 is a dry milling dental prosthetic solution, based on open architecture, for seamless integration with a variety of popular scanning systems.
The two-bur DWX-4 mill offers a small footprint and delivers a polished-looking restoration using nanoceramic materials such as Lava Ultimate restorative from 3M ESPE. Final polishing takes only minutes before a crown is ready for bonding.
This new addition to the One Visit solution from Benco offers several investment levels for dental offices desiring to move into digital dentistry, according to Benco. The DWX-4, with the accompanying vacuum, provides a chairside milling solution, without software, for $20,000. Complete with the True Definition Scanner from 3M and the Glidewell design station, the DWX-4 provides an affordable, quick-turnaround solution for less than $48,000 for routine single-unit restorations.
